ANALYSIS OF TEACHERS\u2019 AGE DISTRIBUTION IN THEBULGARIAN VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract. <\/strong>Changes in the structure of the Bulgarian economy from 1989 to the present day consisted of decline and the obliteration of sub branches of the secondary sector of the national economy. Areas such as metallurgy, machine building, chemical industry, electronics and instrumentation almost disappeared as structures of the economy. Strong shocks received by the primary sector industries such as energy, mining, coal, agriculture, oil and gas extraction of inert materials and their follow-up \u2018processing. The country is oriented to massive imports of finished products and semi-finished goods, which replaced domestic production. Mass privatization in the period 1997 \u2013  2004 was also accelerated this process. These transformations freed from many specialists work primarily engineering and also many technicians and technologists who serve these industries. Vocational schools preparing staff for these sectors were ignored as places for further education and some of them were gradually closed. The education market is imposed disciplines and professions so called Tertiary sector \u2013  accounting services, trade, tourism, catering and other services for the population. Vocational schools preparing personnel for construction, agriculture, food production and preserves also proved somewhat less attractive to would-be high school students. This, naturally, affect the structure of teaching staff in vocational schools and in particular the age structure of the teaching staff.<\/p>\n

Abstract. <\/strong>The Vocational School of Agriculture in the village of Sitovo is unique with professions which offers to young people \u2013\u201c<\/i>Farmer\u201d, \u201c<\/i>Beekeeper\u201d, \u201c<\/i>Production and processing of Milk and Milk Products\u201d. The school belongs to the Municipality. The local government has provided ground field for the out-of-class workshops and helps with the transportation of students and teachers. In addition to the full-time education, there are also part-time and individual forms available. It will be in favor of students if there is an availability for post-graduating study in special subjects only. The best option is to turn vocational schools into post-secondary education centers.<\/p>\n
