Abstract. The aim of this research is to understand the effectiveness of the Basic Aptitude Test in identifying very young potentially gifted children. Early intervention, including early identification, is crucial while helping potentially gifted children. Identification should ideally include multiple pedagogical methods such as; observation, parent and teacher interviews, conversations with the child and portfolio examples. However, because of the long identification process, these steps may sometimes be skipped, with all steps compacted in a single test in isolation. For example, within the last few years, there has been attempts in the Turkish education system to identify very young children with the help of only \u201cThe Basic Aptitude Test\u201d, labeling 5 or 6 year old children as gifted or not gifted. In this research, we attempt to show that this is a more complicated and very fragile process and using only a single test can result in a substantial number of potentially gifted children being left unidentified. During this research, the Torrance Creativity Test, Tema-3 Early Math Test, Tifaldi Turkish Language Development Test and at last Basic Aptitude Test (5-7) were all applied to 42 preschool age children (age 6) in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey within a one year period. Informed consents were collected from parents, giving permission to work with the children. This research showed that relying on a single test alone can mislead educators and parents. Results revealed that 11 out of the 42 young children were left unidentified based on results from the Basic Aptitudes Test alone. These findings will provide a scientific basis to inform parents, teachers and governments about the crucial and difficult nature of trying to find the most able pupils, showing them which methods may be appropriate for the identification of potentially gifted in early ages.

The article deals with the method of organization of seminars on the implementation of the interdisciplinary relations for preparing math teachers in higher pedagogical institutions who meet modern requirements. Finding out logical structural schemes of relations between students\u2019 cognitive activity during student years and developing independent cognitive activity habits have been shown in the three-stage schemes. Also the table on different types of interdisciplinary relations, cognitive issues about interdisciplinary relations has been given as an example so as to use generalized interdisciplinary skills.

MOTIVATION MODEL OF THE ACADEMIC STAFF THROUGH STIMULATION FOR THE HIGH QUALITY ACHIEVED <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract. The lack of effective connectivity between performance and wages of teachers is one of the reasons for their low motivation to achieve high quality in the educational process. The study suggests an idea how this inequality which has moral and material dimensions to be restricted. The legal basis for this idea is the Strategy for the development of the higher education, where it is critically discussed that:
\u2013 there is lack of differentiation in wages in accordance with teachers and researchers\u2019 contribution to the science and educational process;
\u2013 hinders the career development of teachers at Bulgarian academic institutions.
The paper proposed a model for quantifying the quality and volume of academic and research activity in order the wages of teachers to be properly determined. The implementation of such a model will be in interest of all. In such way preconditions for better ranking of higher schools in the national rating system will be achieved.<\/p>\n

THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN EDUCATORS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND PROFESSIONALS WORKING IN CHILDCARE INSTITUTIONS <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract. This text highlights an extremely important and serious problem, which concerns the whole development of contemporary students. The name of the problem is lack of dialogue and interaction between the educational and social-pedagogical institutions. It is a fact that today\u2019s educational reality is very differentand definitely needs special attention from the pedagogical theory and practice. In school and in the classrooms almost every day we have cases that require serious intervention from specialized social-pedagogical institutions. To be effective, this intervention must be adequate and in time. In specific situations, the teacher is not only completely powerless to respond, but could complicate the situation if acting unprofessional.
The article cites a research, conducted for several years. The aim of the study was to confirm or deny the hypothesis that there is no interaction between the educational and social-pedagogical institutions. The research is made through a questionnaire designed for educators working in the field of primary education. The reasons for absence of such interaction could be found equally in both sides. On one hand, the school rarely asks for outside help. On the other hand, the social-pedagogical institutions do not always respond in time, or in the best way. It turns out that the \u201ccold war\u201d in the education of Bulgarian children exists not only between teachers and parents, but also at institutional level – between the capacities that carry professional responsibility for training, education and overall development of the younger generation. Educational interaction is an indispensable condition for achieving positive results in the implementation of these processes. The lack of educational cooperation will not only stop progress, but can cause serious damage in shaping the character.<\/p>\n
