reaction; communicative attitude<\/p>\n<p><strong>DURING THE EXPANSION OF DIALOGIC UNIT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The expansion of the basic dialogic unit, i.e. the arrangement\/chaining of adjacency pairs with a similar first turn (in this case a directive speech act) in a larger discourse fragment constitutes an interesting phenomenon in the light of conversation sequencing. The attention is drawn to the second-pair part, in particular to the type of verbal reaction to the cue act in each segment. \u0422he variation of the addressee\u2019s approach outlines the essential, significant steps in a particular disposition\/arrangement contouring his manifold communicative attitude in two main perspectives: sustaining or modulating the initial choice. However, what is known about F2 transitions in stuttering is based mostly on speakers of English. In this paper we present the first experiment on F2 transition in native Bulgarian speakers. Subjects included four Bulgarian adult males who stutter (mean age = 24 years) and four age-matched Bulgarian adult males who do not stutter. The software product Motor Speech Profile (MSP) as a part of the computerized speech laboratory (Kay Pentax) was used for the measurement of F2 transition. LEARNERS IN THE PROCESS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> In a previous publication we discussed the basic concepts and principles of suggestopedia from the point of view of a holistic approach to personality and the process of foreign language teaching and learning. The present article enriches the theoretical review by adding the three fundamental pillars formulated by Lozanov, namely love, freedom and prestige, and by interpreting them in a linguistic-pedagogical context. It also introduces the three groups of methods used in suggestopedia and the way they are closely related to the main principles. The interrelation of methods and principles results in the accelerated development of communicatively oriented language knowledge and skills which are manifested in the \u201csuggestopedic reserve complex\u201d. KLIMENT OHRIDSKI\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The article presents an analysis of the Italian scientific literature acquired in the library collection from its founding in 1888 to 1903, fulfilling one of the main tasks \u2013 \u201cto collect and store foreign literature as the most important part of the library\u2019s collections\u201d. Italian scientific editions are one of the five main components of the collection of Italian rare and valuable books in the University Library. The emergence of Italian editions in the first years after the founding of the library is due primarily to the role of Italy in Europe\u2019s cultural history, secondly to the changed geopolitical circumstances that took place after the Liberation. The purchase of Italian scientific and scholarly literature, which fills a gap in the period of the fundamental development of library collections (especially in the field of humanities), is essential for the progress of the University Library and is among the priorities of the newly established Bulgarian University. The largest volume group in the collection of Italian rare and valuable editions is the group of scientific publications. It contains 283 titles in several fields \u2013 law, history, philology, philosophy, pedagogy, and philological sciences.
