Just three years after its inclusion in Web of Science, the scientific journal Mathematics and Informatics is now part of the core of the Web of Science through the JCR index, being included in the fourth quartile (Q4) of the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) for 2020.
Each journal covered by Journal Citation Reports (JCR) has a journal profile page that provides a comprehensive overview of related information and key metrics, allowing users to see multiple years of data at a glance. Information related to the journal's publisher, location and frequency of publication, and other important criteria are presented at the top of the page. The journal profile page also provides access to detailed journal information, data, metrics and content that form the basis of the journal's JCR listing. The information available for 2020 for Mathematics and Informatics shows a number of indicators, including the trend and calculation of the journal impact (with and without self-citations); elements that contribute to the development of the journal; total number and distribution of citations; Journal Impact Factor (JIF) rank; Journal Citation Index (JCI) rank; and content indicators (baseline data and contributions by organization and location). Additional metrics (eigenfactor index, normalized eigenfactor, article impact index, and immediacy index) are also available.
