Absract. The article presents the results of a limited sample study that is aiming at establishing the impact of distance learning in an electronic environment upon the learning styles of high school students. The author's questionnaire was developed by sharing the idea of setting the parameters in identifying the learning
style according to the model of R. Felder and B. Soloman. The presentation of the
collected data focuses on one of the possible dimensions in the presentation of the
preferences of the learners – or the information processing. It is established that the conditions created almost equally, favour the satisfaction of the preferences of both
active and reflective types of learners’ preferred learning styles are satisfied when
implementing distance learning in an electronic environment.
